Into the Bedroom with Jean Paul Gaultier

Six sexy things you'll spot at the Dallas Museum of Art's exhibition.

We're positively panting over the Dallas Museum of Art's exhibition that opened yesterday--the country's first retrospective nod to the ground-breaking designer. Six sexy things you'll spot in The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk.

Blonde Ambition
Madonna's cone bras and corsets, plus the designer's sketches for her tour. The crotch-grabbing performer brought menswear to the forefront, thanks to her friendship with Gaultier.

Models Pillow-Fighting
Captured by iconic photog David LaChapelle, in addition to editorial snapshots like Gaultier by Andy Warhol and racy looks at Claudia Schiffer, Gaga and Cate Blanchett.

Tin Can Couture
Everyday objects become ensembles--a dress made of filmstrips, a camcorder headpiece, black spiky beads near the bikini area of an evening gown. Mannequins on a catwalk move in formation as if concluding a fashion show--one wears hosiery adorned with the Eiffel Tower, another smokes a cigarette.

Living, Breathing Mannequins
Well, almost. Gawk at a fashionable cup piece on a gentleman's pants, and the mannequin will look down to where your eyes are drawn, wink and begin speaking in French. The awe-inspiring show features real people's faces projected on still mannequins, making them come alive.

Bonjour, Y'all
Stetsons mark the entrance of the expansive exhibit, where the designer signed his name (and drew a bandana) while in town from Paris last week. (He tweeted about the s'mores at Tillman's Roadhouse.)

The Boudoir
Pink quilted silk walls mark a special section featuring Gaultier's boyhood teddy bear. Dressed in a homemade cone bra, of course.
