See Inside :: Âme

French Indian concept Âme opens in Bishop Arts District.

418 N Bishop Ave.

You promised your palate you'd be more adventurous.

Take your tastebuds to Âme, pronounced “Ah-mmh” - the French word for soul - opening today in Bishop Arts District. Mother-daughter powerhouse duo Afifa and Sabrina Nayeb invite you to experience a whole new world with upscale Indian cuisine made using French techniques. Expect sauces instead of curries and coconut instead of tomato in a menu of shareables like Aloo Tikki and delights like Lamb Vindaloo, housemade Naan Puffs and desserts to the tune of Lavender Malai. After gawking at design elements like Christian Lacroix wallpaper, head to the back to hit the Elephant Bar, an elevated champagne and cocktail concept that will make you feel like you've stepped into a Parisian lounge.

It's for the here and vow.
