Did SXSW strike a chord with your inner guitarist? Whether it’s an acoustic session around a campfire you’ve long envisioned, or a stage, a spotlight and a rock riff played by a guitar pic of your very own, now is your chance to embrace your secret desire to strum.
Austin Tidbits has teamed up with the Austin School of Music to bring Tidbits gals the opportunity to be a part of their Girl Guitar Class. This six-week class is geared for women ages 21 and up who are familiar with basic chords. The class includes a tab book and a CD, and ends with you rocking your own live performance on an Austin stage accompanied by a professional bassist and drummer.

As a special incentive for Austin Tidbits subscribers, the first 10 people to sign up for the next Girl Guitar session will receive 25% off of the regularly priced $120 class fee. This Tidbits-specific class is Wednesday nights from 8:15 – 9:15 p.m., and lasts from March 28 through May 2.
