March 26, 2009

During our days of homeroom and study hall, being a D student wouldn’t have been anything to phone home about. These days, though, get a D and you’re graduating with honors.

Gallery D, the new women’s boutique to hit the 2nd Street District, is breaking all of the rules and regulations with its traditional-meets-innovative take on fashion. Owner Emily Keast, a UT grad, has created a sleek boutique that echoes her studies of the New York fashion scene. Carrying an eclectic collection of goodies that range from casual to cocktail attire, like stylish pieces from Myne, jeans (and fab jean cut-offs!) from Siwy and funky swimwear from Zimmerman and Brette Sandler, you’ll skip work to learn this lesson over, and over again.

Pop quiz, class: D is for de-lightful.
