With all of our minds turning towards going green, it’s important to have an appreciation of the earth’s beauty, both from mother nature’s magic wand and from human hands.

Take a mini road-trip out to the Hill Country to The Benini Foundation Galleries and Sculpture Ranch and enjoy an awesome view of the outdoor art installations. This surreal space is home to both national and international artists who have placed their large-scale, contemporary sculptures on the grounds. Many of the sculptures are for sale, but you’ll need some heavy-duty wheels (biodiesel, of course) just to haul these babies off the property.

Raise your eco-consciousness and expand your eye for the avant garde.

Ps

Spring is in the air at Estilo this Thursday, from 7 – 10 p.m. at their Spring Fashion Show. The theme is Through the Looking Glass so all of you Alice in Wonderland lovers out there, be prepared to eye-shop a runway full of bright, flouncy goddess gowns and over-the-top rocker dresses. Enjoy complimentary cocktails and catering by Suzanne Court.
