Spread The Love

Create the perfect gift for anyone on your list with ingredients you already have on hand.

It never fails that even if you remembered the postman, the piano teacher and the school's crossing guard this holiday season, there will still be that one person that you're going to completely forget about until the precise moment she's ringing your doorbell to drop off a gift.

Stocking up on perfect go-to gifts couldn't be easier with these super simple recipes for whipped butter from Make It & Love It. Simply mix together, spoon into small mason jars and grab one when you're in a present-giving pinch. Hostess gifts, teacher gifts, crazy-neighbors-who-you-can't-believe-are-really-bringing-you-a-gift gifts: no matter the occasion, you'll be ready.

SWEET CRANBERRY WHIPPED BUTTER

Ingredients:
1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature
2 Tbsp jellied cranberry sauce
1 Tbsp honey

CINNAMON HONEY WHIPPED BUTTER

Ingredients:
1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature
2 1/2 Tbsp honey
3/4 tsp cinnamon

PARMESAN GARLIC WHIPPED BUTTER

Ingredients:
1/2 cup salted butter, room temperature
2 1/2 Tbsp parmesan cheese, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp parsley flakes
1/4 tsp black pepper

Directions for all flavors:
Turn your mixer on high and start whipping your room temperature butter. Making these in big batches works best so don't be afraid to triple or quadruple the amounts given. After whipping a minute or two, you’ll notice that the butter will start to lighten in color and will look like it’s increasing in amount. This is good - that means air is being added to the butter, making it light and fluffy.  Scrape the bowl occasionally and continue to beat on high until fully whipped. Divide butter into bowls and mix in the remaining ingredients for each flavor combo. Spoon the mixture into mason jars and refrigerate.
