How To Raise A Cultured Kid

Let The Paramount introduce the wonder of live theatre to your brood this year.

713 Congress Avenue

Birthday parties, date nights, having another kid. Some things are worth thinking about in advance.

Another idea worth a little pre-planning? Snagging (surprisingly affordable) season tix to the 2012-2013 Paramount Theatre's play-time series.

THE TRUE STORY OF THE THREE LITTLE PIGS / Sunday, September 23rd The play begins where the book leaves off, with the trial of a much-maligned citizen of the piggy public, Alexander T. Wolf. GUILTY or NOT GUILTY? When all the witness statements are in, the audience piglets become the jury and determine Al's fate.

GUESS HOW MUCH I LOVE YOU / Sunday, December 2nd Little Nutbrown Hare loves Big Nutbrown Hare as far as he can reach and as high as he can hop. But Big Nutbrown Hare loves him as far as his long arms can reach and as high as his strong legs can hop. And so it continues with this award-winning classic.

THE LITTLE PRINCE / Sunday, February 24th Few of us remember the wonderment of childhood - this astonishing tale will remind you. A pilot crashes in the Sahara desert and while frantically trying to repair his wrecked plane, is interrupted by the apparition of a little boy who asks him to draw a sheep. He takes out a scrap of paper and a pen, and their adventure begins.

BOATS / Saturday, April 13th & Sunday, April 14th A story involving bizarre circumstances which include a chicken, a deserted island and a sombrero. The play is enacted with puppets, acrobatics, singing and sound effects. A story full of adventure with a twist that will leave a lump in your throat and a smile on your face.
