Essie's Girl

Texas-based manicure app Cherry launched in Houston this week.

You've got a late meeting, a spinning class, a blowout and a party on the books tonight. There's no way you'll have time to cram in a manicure.

Your answer: Cherry, the new-to-Houston app that connects you to nail techs nearby for an at home or office nail treatment—the service is available in town, but you'll have to get on the wait list for an appointment. The brainchild of Dallas' Amber Venz Box, founder of rewardStyle (pictured), and Austin-based Bumble founder Whitney Wolfe Herd, Cherry allows you to schedule a mani or pedi to come to you instead of racing across town only to screw up your paint job when you rush back to your car. You can tip within the app to shave off more time. From classic manicures to gel polishes and dip powders, prices start at $35 and the team only uses Essie.

It'll be the most polished you've ever been.Advertisement
