The Bold and the Beachy

Introducing JADEtribe, a new line of beach-ready bags and bangles that a Houston native had hand-made in Cambodia and Thailand during her own “Eat, Pray, Love” adventure.

Electric-turquoise skinned gladiators. A wide-brimmed straw hat a la Samantha in SATC. That sarong you spent a month learning how to tie.

Hey, if you don't love your bod in a swimsuit, at least you're smart enough to invest in killer (and distracting) accessories. Enter JADEtribe, a new line of bags and bangles that a Houston native had hand-made in Cambodia and Thailand during her own Eat, Pray, Love adventure. Bringing the pieces back to bathing beauties across the U.S., she tells the story of how the embroidered fabrics had past lives as a baby sling, apron or jacket from a traditional costume. Others were hand-dyed by female artisans using tree bark and indigo plants before leather workers added colorful charms, hammered silver and lots of festive fringe and pom-poms.

Less really isn't more...unless we're talking cellulite.
