Sip & Savor

August 19th, 2020

Now Open :: Bludorn

In the 1930s building formerly home to Pass & Provisions, Bludorn opens with Mid-century design accents and a massive live oak on the pretty patio.

All the pandemic sales means you've got a new dress that's dying to get out.

When next you decide to wear jewelry, do it at Bludorn. Opening tomorrow, Fri, Aug 21, the hotly-anticipated restaurant is helmed by CIA grad Aaron Bludorn (formerly of Café Boulud) and his wife Victoria Pappas of the local powerhouse restaurant family. Consider a social distanced selfie in front of the massive mural of magnolias by a local artist, pictured right, before diving into a Gulf Course-inspired menu that showcases French technique—gazpacho with brioche croutons, ora salmon, oysters and bacon-wrapped quail. With made-to-order beignets perfected by pastry chef Alejandra Salas, who came from The French Laundry, you're gonna want to snag a reservation.

Because these days if you leave the house, it's because you really give a frock.
