It's Hip To Be Square

This summer's PARKSPACE is a series of vibrant installations in Austin’s parks and green spaces.

Lately your dreams are peppered with passports stamps and calculating currency exchange rates.

We're all antsy to get away, but for now let's just get out. Starting with PARKSPACE, the new socially distant, architecturally-inspired outdoor art installations in several parks around Austin, including Pease Park, Republic Square, Zilker Park and Roy G. Guerrero Colorado River Park. You'll find designated spots marked by bright eco-friendly turf paint to form 8-foot squares, spaced 6 feet apart, so you can enjoy the scene safely for al fresco picnics, yoga and relaxation. Through the summer, each installation is designed to highlight native Texas Hill Country wildflowers through colors and patterns.

It's where we'll all get a lawn.
