Out of Officina

Inspired by her grandfather's vintage binocular case, the former Texan behind Officina del Poggio has updated the utilitarian style.

If shopping were a sport, you'd be the safari guide.

It's all about the thrill of the find - get a closer look at a spring bag you'll covet. Educated in Texas and based in Bologna, Italy, Allison Hoeltzel is the creator of Officina del Poggio, a line of super-luxe leather goods inspired by her grandfather's vintage binocular case. Stocked locally at Sunroom in pretty new shades of pink, and also carried by big-deal retailers like Moda Operandi and Goop's brick-and-mortar in L.A., her Italian-made collection of crossbodies marries metallics, exotic skins and silk tassels with the functionality of the timeless case.

When it comes to fashion, you're a hunter and a gatherer.

Available at Sunroom.
