Your world is so fast-paced, you freak out when it takes more than 30 seconds to upload the latest Nylon photo gallery to your iPhone.

Meet a Parisienne with a patience level to envy - Julie Lansom. A design darling, who's been featured in Lonny and Dwell, makes gorgeous Sputnik lamps and light fixtures that give us reason for pause and applause. Handmade in her studio, each 1960s-inspired piece takes 2-8 hours to meticulously weave depending on the size. Working with a carpenter, she creates the structure and paints the pieces herself - watch her in action here. From light lemon to subdued blue, the unique works of art in varying shades and patterns will make your nooks and crannies come to life.

If you can manage to cool your jets until they're delivered from France.
